At a glance: find the system behind your question
Command An Army mixes personal combat with a recruited army. A problem that looks like a weak troop can instead be an equipment limit, an order, or a commander choice. Start with the part you are changing, then use the matching guide for the next step.
If this is your first session, the beginner guide puts those decisions in match order. The reference below is for returning to a particular system without working through the full introduction again.
The six parts of your setup
Units: what your army can bring
Troops are the units you recruit and choose for your army. Start with the unit reference when you know a name and want its reported role or star cost. Seeing a troop in a guide or tutorial does not establish that you own it or can currently summon it.

The Star Limit restricts the combined star cost of your equipped entries. Owning a high-star troop does not increase that budget. Check the limit shown on your account, then add each proposed entry once. The reported four-entry equip limit is a separate restriction from the total stars available.

Commands direct the army you have brought into battle. Follow, Hold, Attack, and Rush are reported order labels; Aim concerns a chosen target or area. Open this guide when your troops are in the wrong place or you want to regroup before committing to an objective.

Your commander is the character you personally control. The reported class choices are Assassin, Sword & Shield, and Hammer. This choice concerns your own combat style, while troop selection concerns the army around you. Use the class guide when deciding how you want to participate in a fight.

Collecting and upgrading troops is part of the official game loop. Evolve and Ascension are reported upgrade menu names. Before spending, read the current requirement and result on the selected unit's screen. The upgrade guide helps you distinguish a requirement you still need from a change the purchase will make.

Gems are the currency covered by the code list and the Gem Goal Calculator. Check the price and available troop pool in your current game before setting a target. For a time estimate, use the Gems you actually earn and your own average match duration rather than assuming every match pays the same.
Plan Gems and recruitingNext actions: turn a lookup into a decision
After finding the relevant system, decide what you need to check in the game. For an equipment problem, that means the current cap and the cost of each entry. For an upgrade, it means the selected unit and the requirement shown beside it. For a battle problem, watch what happens after one order before changing the whole army.
The role-based troop comparison helps with lineup choices, while the planning tools help with a star budget or Gem target. Both work best when you bring the current numbers from your own game.
For places on the battlefield, start with the objective markers you can see in your current match. Use attack and defense decisions to choose where your army needs to go; map names alone do not tell you which point needs help.
Questions before you play
Where should a new player start?
Begin with the beginner guide for a first-match routine. Return to this index when you need a specific explanation of units, equipment limits, commands, or progression.
What is the difference between a class and a troop?
Your class concerns the commander you personally control. Troops are separate collection and equipment choices for the army you direct.
Why can I own a troop but still be unable to equip my full army?
Ownership and equipment limits are separate. Check the combined star cost against your current Star Limit and the reported maximum of four equipped entries.
Where can I check information after an update?
Open the update check for the latest dated listing snapshot and recent video links, then compare any relevant costs and requirements with the current game menus.
